49 Phones Won’t have WhatsApp from 31st December (Complete List Provided)

On December 31, WhatsApp will phase out its service for a staggering 49 models of smartphones from renowned brands including Apple and Samsung.

  • Each year, WhatsApp discontinues service for select phones
  • WhatsApp will be no longer available on certain devices come December 31, 2023
  • This year, WhatsApp will no longer support 49 phones

As we approach the end of 2022, WhatsApp is phasing out support for a variety of Android and iPhone models. While this may seem unsettling at first glance, rest assured: these phones are running old or outdated operating systems – no need to panic! Most users won’t be affected by this change in service.

First reported by GizChina, the instant messaging platform, is ending support for nearly 49 smartphones across brands including Apple, and Samsung, among many others on December 31. After a certain point, users of specific phones are no longer eligible to receive updates such as new features and security patches from WhatsApp. Eventually, the service will completely stop functioning on these devices.
