Actress Amber Heard, who is known for playing the role of Mera in the English film Aquaman (2018), has now broken her silence and refused the reports of leaving Hollywood, according to a news article published by Page Six.
The news was confirmed by Amber Heard in one of her TikTok videos, wherein she said that she is currently residing in Spain; however, she has projects lined up.
Amber, during an interview with a Spanish reporter, expressed her love for Spain while talking in an accent similar to those native to the European country. She said,
I love Spain so much.
During the same interview, when Amber was asked by the reporter whether she will continue residing in Spain, she responded,
I hope so. I love living here.
However, after the reporter asked about her plans for Hollywood and whether she has film projects to do, to which Amber replied,
“Oh, yes. I keep moving forward. That’s life,
Previously, a report published by the DailyMail in May 2023, confirmed Amber’s exit from Hollywood. The Dailymail’s journalist, Alison Boshoof wrote,
I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh.
A friend of Amber, during an interview with the Dailymail, talked about Amber’s decision to relocate to Spain and revealed,
She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise. I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right for the right project.
Meanwhile, Amber’s ex-husband, Depp, months after winning the defamation case against Amber, reportedly started dating Joelle Rich, an attorney. In an interview with a media house, a source close to Johnny Depp talked about the same and said,
He is dating and genuinely seems happy Johnny’s ugly sides were exposed. He has never claimed he is perfect, but making changes is hard. He has worked on issues and accepted help.
