Are We Soon Getting An Outer Banks Season 3?

A lot of fans are asking about Outer Banks Season 3. Outer Banks is about a coastal town along the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where there’s a stark social divide between wealthy seasonal residents and working-class locals (who have the nicknames “Kooks” and “Pogues” respectively). The show follows a gaggle of Pogue teenagers living at The Cut. They are determined to seek out what happened to the missing father of the group’s ringleader, John B. Along the way, they discover a legendary treasure that’s linked to John B’s father.

Chased by the law and a wealthy group of Kooks from Figure Eight, the Pogues seek to beat obstacles like drugs, love, fighting, friendship, and money.

Outer Banks Season 3

The second season finale left the fans a little bit disappointed but shocked. The production team announced the third season in December 2021. The cast also took to their social media to announce the release as well.

Production status and release date

The second season of Outer Banks was filmed between August 2020 and April 2021.  If an identical schedule will be followed then there’s an opportunity we’ll see season 3 on Netflix in December 2022. At the very least, we expect to ascertain Outer Banks’ return by February 2023. In December 2021, we reported on the filming dates revealed for Outer Banks season 3. Filming dates are subject to vary. but because it currently stands, filming for season 3 will begin in Charleston, South Carolina, on February 16th, 2022. There is a run through to August 19th, 2022.

The fans are indeed excited and have a lot of expectations from the third season. It is also the final season of the show altogether.
