Netflix Brazil confirmed the renewal of the series through a Tweet on July 17th, 2023. The tweet also confirmed the return of Camila Queroz and Maisa Silva in the lead roles. This renewal adds to the growing list of Brazilian shows that have been renewed. The show has been doing exceptionally well in its home country, Brazil. The second season of the show amassed 7.9 million hours of viewership in its first week.

Although the number is nowhere near the amount of viewership garnered by the first season in its debut week, the show has a dedicated following and it is sure to reflect in the hours. The second season entered the Netflix global top 10s for a total of two weeks. The journey of a woman back to her highschool days is a fantasy a lot of people share. The dosage of nostalgia in this series is insane which is all the more reason why viewers come back for more.
