The wait is over! EA finally announced the release date of Battlefield 2042, Season 1. It is along with the information about an overview of the game’s portal, its beta dates, and more information. DICE and EA, both of them announced that Season 1 will premiere on 9th June with a huge collection of fresh content.
They have been working on it for a long time. After years of waiting, they describe the new installment to be the ‘ most ambitious ‘ series to be out soon. The game is going to feature 128-player maps. It will have a whole new set of weapons and gadgets, many futuristic vehicles to play with, and AI bots. It also introduces the classic series map in the mind-boggling Portal mode.
Season 1: Zero Hour is free for all the Battlefield 2042 players. You just need the premium pass if you want the new features. BF 2042 received mixed reviews from the audience, and the new launch will be enough for the change. Earlier the game did fail to meet the sales expectations of EA.
BF2042 has 3 main modes of gameplay. ‘Breakthrough’ and ‘Conquest ‘are present in ‘All-Out Warfare’. The second model in the game is a community-driven platform known as Battlefield Portal. And lastly, the third mode is a cooperative multiplayer mode named the ‘Hazard Mode’.
The game is available on many platforms such as PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. There are 3 different versions available for the game and are ready for pre-orders.
The standard versions of PS4, PC, and Xbox One cost £59.99, whereas the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S versions cost £69.99. The Ultimate edition costs £119.99 on a console and £109.99 on a PC. Apart from these, there is a Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition available for £99.99 on a console and £89.99 on a PC.
