Just like the most popular RPG titles, the players have to search hundreds of blasted hellscapes and dark dungeons in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. The dead corpses and defeated enemies will give you plenty of useful items like pistols, swords, and helmets. As your inventory fills up, it gets frustrating to walk to distant towns since players eventually start selling unnecessary gear.
Teleport to NPCs
If you are fed up with this routine, then we have good news for you, since in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem there is a fast travel system that allows you to travel with the speed of light. All you have to do is follow and remember these simple steps: There is a blue icon on the bottom of the main screen which will cast a spell when you press it and teleports you to town. As soon as it stops loading, you can sell items to the NPCs and get Wolcen gold. After making all the sales you will have to go back to the point where you arrive. You will see a portal which on clicking will take you to the exact location where you left for town. This saves you some precious time of walking again and again to sell the Wolcen items that you don’t need.
Find all the portal waypoints
One thing to be cautious about is that the portal will not be there if you quit the game after entering the town. So we highly recommend you to travel back to your location from where you left the town before closing the game. If under some unforeseen circumstances, you close the game while being in the town. Then you will need to use the map screen to get to the closest point of your location. The map will only show you the portal waypoints that you have discovered. They are available to make your travel easier in the world of Wolcen.
We advise you to comprehensively search all the areas to find all the way-point portals. Since it will make backtracking quite easier. Wolcen offers an extensive variety of loot, so fast traveling through the caves and the shops will save you time and will get you plenty of items.
Wolcen is currently only available for PC, the team has announced versions for PS4 and Xbox One, but no date has been announced. Almost 128,000 players were active in Hack ‘n Slay Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem on the day of its release. This shows the success of the action role-playing game on Steam.
