Jaguar Season 2: Will Netflix Renew This Spanish Series?

Jaguar Season 2

The series premiered on Netflix as a global Netflix Original on September 22nd, 2021.  It had a total of 8 episodes and told the storey of Isabel Garrido, a holocaust survivor on the lookout for one of the most deadly Nazis after the war.

Jaguar is launched on Netflix from the group of The Cable Girls and High Seas era.  The two shows aired on Netflix for a few seasons.  Jaguar Season 2 is the brainchild of Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira.

Is Netflix renewing Jaguar for a second season?

There hasn’t been any word on a renewal yet, and we won’t know for sure until around a month after the game’s release.

So, what factors go into deciding whether or not to renew Jaguar season 2? Many factors play a role, including how many people choose to watch the series and how many people watch it all the way through (ie what completion rate it gets).

Season 2 closes with a somewhat open finale, with many unsolved questions, as anyone who has seen the show will know. The crew captures Aribert Heim at the end of the series (spoiler alert), but Otto continues to torture Lucena freely.

How did the show fare in the Netflix top ten?

This is when we start to worry about the possibility of a second season. The series has done well in Spain since its premiere, but it appears that it is struggling to find an audience elsewhere. It is not a hit on Netflix. This is the main reason behind its end. The fans want to watch it on the platform.

For the time being, that’s all we know about Season 2 of Jaguar; we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available. Would you like to see Season 2 of the Spanish series Jaguar? Please let us know in the comments section. Jaguar, from the same writing team as High Seas and Gran Hotel, is one of the new Spanish programmes you may not have seen yet.

Because the series has so far made a lukewarm impression on Netflix, projecting if there will be a Jaguar season 2 is tough, especially because it was supposedly conceived as a stand-alone limited series. Let us see what happens next. The decision of the Netflix team will decide the future of the series.
