Netflix Announces Release Date for K-Drama Thriller, Bloodhounds

K-Drama has hit the world of entertainment like a tidal wave impressing millions of people across the globe. Infact, K-Drama thriller Squid Game season 1 is currently the most viewed series on Netflix. Will Bloodhounds add to the success of K-Drama on Netflix?

Netflix has officially announced the release date of K-Drama, Bloodhounds. This eight-episode thriller will air on Friday, June 9th, 2023. All episodes will be made available for streaming on the same day. Bloodhounds, which was previously titled Hunting Dogs, is a well anticipated K-Drama which will add to the already star-studded list of K-Dramas on Netflix.

The giant streaming platform is already home to shows like Squid Game, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, All of Us Are Dead, The Good Bad Mother, and Business Proposal, among others.

Bloodhounds is written and directed by Jason Kim who has worked on shows for HBO and Fox before. He was a consulting producer on the Netflix show Love (2018). So, technically, Bloodhounds is Jason Kim’s Netflix debut as a writer.

What is Bloodhounds about? While the nitty gritties of the plot are well under the hood, the main plotline revolves around three young men who dive into the private loan market to make money but encounter some major forces who prey on the weak and the poor.
