The final season of Never Have I Ever Season 4, which cast Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Devi) in the lead role, will premiere on Netflix on June 8, 2023. Although fans are excited about the arrival of the series, the bad news is that the fourth season of the series will be its last.
The comedy series, co-created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, follows the complicated life of an Indian-American Tamil Hindu girl, Devi Vishwakarma (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), who is a high-school student at Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, and is struggling with identity, young love, and sex. The lesser-known fact about the famous series is that its storyline is partially inspired by the creator Kaling’s teenage experiences. The other cast includes Darren Barnet, Poorna Jagannathan, and Megan Suri.
In the fourth and final series of Never Have I Ever, Devi will find that three guys have her attention concomitantly; her previous crush and exes, Ben and Paxton, and a new guy Ethan. The official synopsis released by Netflix reads,
Never Have I Ever is a coming-of-age comedy about the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl. The series stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, an overachieving high school student with a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.
It is expected that the fourth and final season will be the wittiest and the funniest and at the same time, the series will make you emotional as Devi and her friends will complete their high school and Devi looks forward to going to Princeton.

What’s New in the fourth season?
In the season 4’s trailer of Never Have I Ever which was released by Netflix on May 9, 2023, Devi and Ben are seen taking their relationship to the next level. There is also a sneak peek at what Devi and her girlfriends will be doing after graduating from Sherman Oaks High School. From the trailer, it looks like she is making the most of her remaining high school years while doing this, as well as the connections she has already built in the previous season. In the upcoming season, it will be intriguing to see if Devi’s goal of attending Princeton University turns true as she thinks about her future. In the forthcoming season, Devi will also be seen romancing a new connection named Ethan (Michael Cimino); however, the trailer doesn’t reveal much about him. Guess we have to wait a bit more to find out about Devi’s new connection.
