Nixxes Software took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the release of a PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. The game is going to be released for PC gamers on July 26 this year. The announcement was made on a post dated May 30.
Nixxes Software and Insomniac Games are collaborating to develop the game for PC. The first trailer for the PC version has been released as well. And it is an absolute visual treat. The game celebrating its 20th anniversary this year is bringing the intergalactic adventure to PC gamers with a lot of supreme visual and gameplay features.
The developers say, “We added support for 21:9, 32:9 and up to 48:9 resolutions”, in order to cater to the general propensity among PC gamers of using ultra wide monitors or three-monitor setups. The engineers have analyzed the game and ensured that both gameplay and cutscenes are compatible with panoramic aspect ratios.

According to the developers, the new game features a fresh, standalone storyline and two new characters, making it perfect for gamers who haven’t played this 20 year old game before.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for PC features ray-traced reflections. You can choose from a variety of quality options. The developers have also added ray-traced shadows which creates the semblance of natural light in outdoor areas.
The game will support full mouse and keyboard support along with haptic feedback for the users of the DualSense controller. The overall feel of the game is designed to be spectacular and the controls will properly accommodate that. The game will also support enhancement technologies from NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS, etc.
There are going to be some rewards like the Pixelizer Weapon and Carbonox Armor set for pre-purchasers.
