United States has reported around 4 million COVID-19 cases in the month of November. And this is very much higher than the total of cases seen all year by any country in the world except India and Brazil. The public health experts are going on and on by warning the United States and has also said that the US will face record-breaking number of cases till the final year of 2020.
From the day pandemic has begun, the US has suffered from more than 13.3 million COVID cases and 267,000 deaths. According to the data of Johns Hopkins University, this is the highest number ever of COVID cases in the whole world. Furthermore, India and Brazil are recorded with 9.4 million and 6.3 million cases respectively. Some of the other nations having the highest number of COVID cases include Russia, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom. These are the nations having COVID cases between 1.6 million and 2.3 million. There has been a total of 62.8 million COVID cases and 1.4 million deaths in the whole world till now.
Previously in the month of November, the US set several grim new records in the pandemic. Around 100,000 cases were surpassed for the first time on November 4th, 2020 and then the cases increased to 200,000 on a daily basis till November 28th. Probing further, the nation also faced 90,000 hospitalizations for the first time in the month of November. November 24th was the deadliest day ever noted during this COVID pandemic since the month of May. About half, 50% of states reported with the highest daily toll for the virus. And many states reintroduced restrictions and added new ones to break the pandemic COVID outbreak. Ergo, it has also been calculated that the U.S. death toll can reach up to 321,000 by December.
