S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is not arriving in 2023. Developer GSC Game World has announced that the game will now make its debut in the first quarter of 2024. The game will be available on Xbox Series consoles and PC platforms such as Steam and the Epic Games Store. Additionally, it will be accessible through the Xbox Game Pass service.
The Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant lies at the heart of this virtual adventure. The exclusion zone around the plant is infested with radiation, mutants, and anomalies. It draws in adventurers from distant lands. Adventurers venture into the Zone in pursuit of hidden treasures and enigmatic mysteries called stalkers.
