‘The Glory’ Season 2: Does Netflix Renew or Cancel the show?

Is the future of The Glory’s full second season (or part 3) on Netflix still up for debate? We don’t know yet.

Kim Eun Sook, the writer of several well-known k-dramas such as Descendants of the Sun, Goblin, and The: King Eternal Monarch has created yet another masterpiece with Netflix’s Original South Korean revenge-thriller series — The Glory.

Fuelled by Dong-eun’s vengeful journey, The Glory has quickly become one of the most beloved Korean series on Netflix.

Netflix released The Glory season one in two parts beginning with the premier in December 2022, followed by part two arriving three months later in March 2023.

Renewal Status of The Glory Part 3

Official Status of Renewal: Pending (Last Updated: 15/03/2023)

As of now, Netflix has not revealed its plans for The Glory. Considering how popular the show is, millions of viewers are hoping to witness its return. Unfortunately, K-drama series renewals are rare occurrences that make it uncertain if the show will be coming back or not.

With some speculations emerging from South Korean sources concerning what’s next for the show, most of them point to the possibility that it will be a one-off series or, as they say in western countries, a limited series.

The top ten hourly data reinforces the need for renewal. As of today, The Glory has generated 314, 020,000 Million Hours Viewed which is enough to establish it as the 9th most-viewed non-English language Netflix original. And the 4th most popular South Korean series ever on this streaming platform.
