The International Judo championship declares that Iran is not going to play now. They said this is because the athletes of Iran refuse to play with Israel. Therefore, the International Judo Federation imposed an indefinite ban. They clarified that Iran is banned for a certain time, as soon as they promise to play with Israel, they will come back in the match. The International Judo Federation (IJF) commission, says that this ban is going to stand till Iran gives strong guarantee. They said that Iran has to accept their judo fight with the athletes of Israel.

The International Judo Federation further said that Iran has broken the rules on non-discrimination. Therefore, this is the only reason to ban them from the match.

After all this on the basis of the 2018 championship, Mr. Saeid Mollaei walked off from the Iranian team. He says that the team of Iran gives the order to get out because of the lost matches. They further said him to withdraw from the competitions so as not to face Israel.

According to the commission, Mollaei faced so many things. There were so many false claims that got imposed on him. These were the claims that he got on himself due to the speed up change of his nationality process.

Due to all these reasons, Iran has missed so many events. They have provisionally got a suspension from last month. However, it is very much important for them to face Israel, if not then they will be permanently banned from the World Judo Championship.

According to the IOC president, Mr. Thomas Bach, these issues are clearly an abuse due to political purposes.
