Zack Snyder is joining up with Netflix once again. This time to produce and direct Rebel Moon. It is an enormous sci-fi adventure with a Star Wars scope and scale, following the success of Army of the Dead and its several spin-offs in production.

The Stone Quarry is the film’s principal production business. Grand Electric, Eric Newman’s production firm, has an overall arrangement with Netflix.

“They send a strange young woman to find soldiers from adjacent worlds to assist them in fighting the Tyrant.”
Sofia Boutella will lead the picture. She has previously been in sci-fi and action films such as 2015’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, 2016’s Star Trek Beyond, 2017’s Atomic Blonde, and 2021’s Settlers.
