Drew Carey, a popular host, actor, and producer, has slammed the Los Angeles mayoral candidate, Spencer Pratt.
On May 24, 2026, Drew slammed Spencer Pratt (I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and The Hills) in a social media post. He wrote on Thread, “Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Pratt for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ass. I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass. Fuck this guy already.”
The post went viral and has drawn attention worldwide. This happened just a few days before the mayoral election, which will be held on 2 June.
What is the Matter Between Pratt and Carey?
Pratt, who got popular from the reality show on MTV, The Hills, alongside his girlfriend and now wife, Heidi Montag. He entered the mayoral race in January 2026. When asked about his candidacy, he replied, “I never wanted to be mayor… but once you uncover everything I have, these people in charge should have resigned.” He added, “They’re corrupt because they’ll then fail you, they’ll let people burn alive, and then they will actively cover it up with charity money.”
His decision to participate in the election came after the heartwrenching Los Angeles wildfire in January 2025 that destroyed his home and killed more than 12 people.
On MSNOW, Bass said, “Honestly, before this, I had never even heard of Spencer Pratt.”
She added, “But the thing I am concerned about is that I feel like he’s exploiting the grief of people in the Palisades,” she continued. “And I think that’s reprehensible.”
Many people on social media came out in support of Pratt while his own sister is calling him out, claiming it is a “vote for stupidity.” While Trump and Joe Rogan have publicly supported Spencer Pratt.
