When Will Season 2 of Beef Be Released?

The eight Primetime Emmy Award-winning series is coming back sooner than you expected. The renewal of the series was announced a few days back on 26th February, but fans had already heard the hint at the 81st Golden Globe Awards when the show runner and creator Lee Sung Jin said, 

I feel like there are so many paths. It could stay limited; it was a very close-ended story for sure. But if Netflix wanted to continue, it could also be an anthology. It could be many things. It’s up to the great algorithm. We’re all waiting to hear.

Netflix has set the release date of the A24-produced series for April 16, 2026. With the announcement, fans and cast members are excited and looking forward to the series’ synopsis and first look. 

When To Expect The Teaser/Trailer Of Upcoming Season of Beef?

Who Will Be Joining the Beef Season 2 Cast?

With the upcoming season of the dark comedy series, Beef, everything is changing, from the cast to the storyline, except for the creator, Lee Sung Jin.

The main cast of Beef season 1, Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, have joined the show as executive producers along with Carey Mulligan, Cailee Spaeny, Charles Melton, Oscar Isaac, and Jake Schreier.

While attending the Sundance Film Festival, Carey Mulligan, the main cast, and the executive director said, “We just started. Almost everything [is different]. But it’s still [creator Lee Sung Jin] being brilliant. It’s a completely new story, and if I say anything else, then a laser beam will appear on my head. But it’s very exciting.”

What Can We Expect From The Second Season of Beef?

Beef season 2 brings a completely new story with its renewal. This time, the story takes you to a luxurious country club where personal relationships, power, and goals begin to collapse.

Season 2 is led by Ashley Miller, played by Cailee Spaeny, and Austin Davis, played by Charles Melton. The newly engaged couple witnessed a fight between their boss (Joshua Martín) and his wife (Lindsay Crane-Martín). The situation turned even more complicated when the billionaire owner and chairwoman of the company (Park, played by Youn Yuh Jung) got involved in her own scandal that involved her second husband, Doctor Kim.

How Many Episodes Are In The Second Season of Beef?

Season 1 of Beef had 10 episodes of around 30 minutes each, but this time Lee is coming with a shorter comedy series. Beef season 2 comprises 8 episodes, and all the episodes will be released at once on 16 April 2026.
