The American mystery-adventure drama, Outer Banks, became a hit on Netflix. The first season came out last year. And since the release of the second season, everyone is asking if there will be a season 3 of Outer Banks. The show received a lot of positive comments. Cast of Outer Banks Season 3
The Outer Banks season 3 cast includes many characters from the past 2 seasons. There will be some newcomers as well. You can see Chase Stokes as John B. Routledge, Rudy Pankow as JJ Maybank, Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron, Jonathan Daviss as Pope Heyward, and Madison Bailey as Kiara Carrera back on the show.
Netflix confirmed that there will be a 3rd season. But, did not give any confirmation about the new cast of Outer Banks. You can expect to see some new faces this season.
Outer Banks Season 3 Plot
Jonas Pate is the co-creator of the show. She said that Outer Banks is based on his and his brother’s experience of growing up on the island of Kiawah. Again, no plot is out for Outer Banks season 3.
Season 2 did show us that Big John, John B’s father, is still alive. So, there is a possibility that they will show their reunion in this 3rd season.
At the end of season 2, we saw the Pogues lose the gold and somehow managed to escape the ship. So, the story may or may not take a turn from here.
And till now, it is very unclear how Big B and Carla are going to help John and his friends get the treasure.
We can also see Sarah and John B’s relationship speeding up. Pope, JJ, Kiara, and Cleo will be building their relationship. The potential of the plot from the previous season is pretty promising. Renewal of Outer Banks
Let us cancel the rumor that Netflix canceled season 3 of Outer Banks. On 7th December 2021, Netflix announced its renewal. The news of renewal also came with the logo of Outer Banks Season 3. The creator of the series will be returning as the showrunner. But the Outer Banks season 3 release date is not out yet, and you have to wait for it a little more.
But if everything goes well, you can expect Season 3 of Outer Banks to be out either at the very end of this year or early 2023. This is great news for its fans who are anticipating its release.
