Unrest Shooting
In August 2020, Rittenhouse, when he was 17, travelled from Antioch, Illinois, to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to help promote the local businesses, after protests for the shooting of Jacob Blake were addressed by a police officer.
On August 25, 2020, the teen was armed with an AR-15-style rifle and shot three men during the civil unrest in Kenosha. The evidence revealed that the rest unfolding, Rittenhouse, and others participated from a high school close to the county courthouse.
