Former United States President Donald Trump has again come to the support of the royal family. In an interview with Nigel Farage on Britain’s GB News, Trump was seen defending Kate Middleton and her Photoshop controversy.
When Farage asked him his opinions regarding the matter, Trump said everyone was going after the Princess of Wales for no reason at all.
Kate, who has obviously been ill and had major surgery, now a photograph that the press say was doctored,
Farage said.
It’s pretty tough being in her position, isn’t it?
Responding to this, the former president said,
It shouldn’t be a big deal.
He went on to say,
Everybody doctors. You look at these movie actors, then you see them in real life and you say, ‘is that the same person in the picture?’ It was a very minor doctoring. It’s a rough period and they’re really going after her.
Notably, the Mother’s Day photograph was released after questions arose about the disappearance of the princess. Many major outlets issued a “kill notice” against those photos posted by Kensington Palace, saying that the image had been edited.
However, soon, the princess herself admitted these claims and said she was trying her hands at editing. She apologized for any confusion that was created because of her mistake.
Meanwhile, this controversy surrounding Kate Middleton was not the individual royal drama that Trump talked about. In the GB News interview, he also mentioned Kate Middleton’s brother-in-law, Prince Harry.
Donald Trump said that if Prince Harry has lied about using drugs in the past on the application form for the United States visa, “they’ll have to take appropriate action.”
On Trump’s remarks, the interviewer Nigel Farage asked,
Which might mean… not staying in America?
Oh, I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me. You just have to tell me,
