23-year-old Giorgi “Tzane” Janelidze, who rose to fame with his social media handle, died on Thursday, January 13, after accidentally falling into a ravine; he was shooting social media content.
According to a media source, the social media influencer was born in Georgia but was brought up in Greece. His travel partner, who used to accompany him, confirmed his death and also posted a tribute note on Instagram.
Tzane is no longer with us. He left us yesterday afternoon during the trip we made to Italy. Please pray with us for his soul to rest in peace,

On Thursday, January 13, the unfortunate incident took place when the fitness and social media influencer went to Roghudi, Vecchio; it is an old village surrounded by mountains which was abandoned in the 1970s amid the catastrophic flood. During his visit, he accidentally slipped into a ravine while he was shooting a video on a balcony with no guardrail.
Although firefighters immediately rushed to the spot, the rescue was of no use. Owing to the ravine’s depth, a helicopter was assigned to rescue his body. Upon founding, his body was submitted to the police of Salice Janiche’s town.
