In a recent Instagram post, Jackie Chan shared an update on his health with his fans. Fans were worried about the international icon after his recent public appearance because of how his beard looked and his gray hair. Therefore, the veteran actor took to Instagram on his 70th birthday and addressed these concerns, saying the look was “just a character appearance” for his upcoming movie.

The Karate Kid actor first posted numerous old pictures of himself. He expressed gratitude for the success he has received in his long career of 62 years. He further addressed the photos from his event in China that had been going viral online.

Chan, however, did not reveal much about the character that required him to age up. Last year, he gave his voice in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.’ Now, he will reprise his role as Mr. Han in the next Karate Kid film. The movie will be released in theaters on December 13, 2024, and Ralph Macchio will reprise his role from the original 1984 film.

American actor and film producer Will Smith also wrote a heartfelt wish to Jackie Chan on his 70th birthday. Will’s son, Jaden Smith, co-starred with Chan in the 2010 film ‘The Karate Kid.’

He shared some photos from the film’s shooting and wrote a wholesome caption:
