Michael Rohl, known for supernatural TV shows, Smallville, and Shadowhunters, has directed the film. Alexander and Howard Braunstein together have produced the film. Netflix Studios is the producing company.

Plot Summary of My Secret Santa
Taylor is a single mom who needs a job fast. Her daughter Zoey wants to take skiing lessons, but money is tight. Taylor spots a seasonal job opening for Santa Claus at a fancy ski resort. But the problem is that she needs to dress as the traditional male Santa.
So, Taylor puts on the full Santa costume, red suit, fake beard, and even a deep voice. She hides her real identity to get the job. As she starts working, Taylor spreads holiday cheer to families at the resort.
She also meets Matthew, the resort’s manager. At first, Matthew is serious and focused on rules. But he soon warms up to Taylor’s Santa, and she starts to develop feelings for him. Taylor needs to keep her secret hidden for her job and family.
The film shows the dedication of a woman toward her child. It is a mix of romance, drama, and comedy.

Other Details of My Secret Santa
The shooting started in February 2025. Filming has taken place in beautiful surroundings in Kamloops in British Columbia, which has given the movie a natural snow mountain and icy ambiance. Alexandra said, “extraordinarily uncomfortable”, even having to wear ice packs under Santa’s famous red outfit.
Mike aimed to create a cozy, joyful holiday movie. Ron Oliver and Carley Smale are the scriptwriters of the My Secret Santa movie.
The Santa Makeover
Alexandra’s transformation was intense. Along with the beard and suit, she wore prosthetic pieces on her face and a padded belly to look like Santa. She said, “Finding the right Santa voice was tricky. I wanted it to sound deep and real, but a little awkward, like someone new to being Santa.”
The whole process helped bring humor and heart to her character.
