The Eternals have returned in the Marvel Comic book Universe. Nevertheless, their come back is not without an equal share of difficulties. Previews for the series’ second next issue showcase that Ikaris is just about to make use of his great powers in a dispute standing against Thanos, the Mad Titan – who is hell bent on devastating the Eternals for some good. Yet, can the MCU’s new coming hero beat the villain?
Marvel’s reintroduction of the Eternals includes a reboot style same as Jonathan Hickman’s X-Men. Hence, The Eternals are not capable of dying for better, as they can be resurrected to life with their memoirs (and even latest appearances)all thanking to an age old Celestial machine. Nonetheless, Thanos plans to examine the permanence of dying as the Eternal (birth with Deviant syndrome) seeks to finish them all for good. Ikaris, central main character of the Eternals who was lately rebooted, comes across Thanos, who makes it very cristal clear that he targets at being the end Eternal standing.

In the previews for Eternals #2 by Esad Ribic , Kieron Gillen, Clayton Cowled and Matthew Wilson, Ikaris comes in confrontation with Thanos on Titanos, the Eternals lineal home that is replaced in time. The Eternal looks up for the dispute,as he strikes Thanos with a huge blast of energy coming from his eyes – although, he is met with the Mad Titan summoning him a “fellow poet of annihilation,” afore he thrusts Ikaris against the ground. In an classic scene, Ikaris and Thanos struggle in the time-warped Titanos, traveling through gateways in space and time. Their fight shows them traveling through time in the primitive era of dinosaurs, alongside the time of knights. Ikaris mentions the scuffle lasts “for seconds,” and then “for all of history.”Nonetheless, it is great to view Ikaris and the Eternals again in the spotlight.
