Singer and songwriter Shakira has revealed the whole tracklist for her upcoming album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.” Set to be released on March 22, this will be Shakira’s first album in seven years. Shakira shared this news through an Instagram post with the caption,
The 16-track album will include eight new tracks, along with eight already released singles, now in collaboration with some of the biggest stars of the Latin music industry. Those include Karol G in TQG, ‘Copa Vacía’ with Manuel Turizo, Ozuna in ‘Monotonía,’ and Fuerza Regida’s collaboration ‘El Jefe’, among others. A remix of Shakira and Bizarrap’s Latin Grammy-winning “Music Sessions Vol. 53” will also be included in the album. Shakira has collaborated with her previous companions on this new album, along with some new artists.
The new collaborators on Shakira’s album include some of the music giants, including Cardi B and Grupo Frontera. There were speculations about a collab when Shakira and Cardi B were spotted together in Paris at a fashion show last year. At that time, Cardi B shared her fangirl moment on social media with her admirers. She said,
She’s just amazing. She’s just amazing. Life is so crazy, I would have never thought as a young kid that I would be meeting Shakira. It was incredible to meet her. That was just a great moment.
People reported a press release in which the “Queen of Latin Music” said,
Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength.
After releasing ‘El Dorado’ in 2017, she has made her fans curious about the new project for the last seven years. Following Shakira’s album announcement, fans have also become excited about the singer’s tour announcement.
