Solar Opposites is back for its last season! Season 6 premieres on October 13, 2025. All ten episodes will drop at the same time on Hulu and Disney+. It’s the perfect time, if you want to binge the whole season without waiting.
Before that, Netflix had a surprise. For the US Netflix subscribers, all 53 episodes of the five seasons will premiere on 28 September 2025.
Where the Story Began?
Solar Opposites started in May 2020. It follows a family of four aliens, Korvo, Terry, Yumyulack, and Jesse. They crash land on Earth and must protect something called the Pupa. The Pupa is a living supercomputer meant to change Earth one day.
Korvo, first voiced by Justin Roiland and now by Dan Stevens, is grumpy and doesn’t like how messy Earth is. Terry, voiced by Thomas Middleditch, loves Earth’s fun stuff like TV and junk food. Yumyulack, played by Sean Giambrone, is a little scientist who shrinks humans to experiment on. Jesse, voiced by Mary Mack, tries to enjoy her new life on Earth.
The Crazy Twists That Keep Fans Hooked
As episodes rolled on, things only got stranger. The show introduced The Wall, a hidden terrarium where shrunken humans created their own intense dramas. By Season 5, the aliens had lost their money-making machine and faced survival.
Meet the Talented Creators
The show was created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan. Roiland is well-known for creating Rick and Morty. McMahan created Star Trek: Lower Decks and wrote for South Park. Together with showrunner Josh Bycel, they made Solar Opposites smart, funny, and emotional.

The Final Goodbye from the Creators
At the San Diego Comic Convention in March 2025, Mike McMahan said to Collider’s Steve Weintraub that this will be the final season.
He said, “A lot more stories to tell, and we just have to figure out how to make them, let us do it,” which gives the fans some hope that new updates might come after season 6.
He promised the ending would be satisfying, with no loose ends. This means there won’t be cliffhangers. The story will wrap up in a way that feels complete. Fans will get a proper goodbye.
