Bethesda has yet again postponed Starfield. The game is now slated for a September release on PC and Xbox Series X and S. There will be an exclusive Starfield Direct broadcasted after the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11th.
Todd Howard from Bethesda has officially declared that the highly awaited game will be released this year. The news was shared in an official launch date announcement trailer.
He went on to explain, “We have poured ourselves into this game and even I’m surprised how much we can pour. It is large. We’re playing the game all the time.”
During the Starfield Direct in June, fans will be given a more thorough look at the game. As Todd Howard said: “There’s so much that we still have to show you. The game has many of the hallmarks that you’d expect from us, but it’s also a very unique experience.”
Earlier this year, Phil Spencer left a hint that Microsoft and Xbox would make an appearance at E3 with his Starfield Direct fitting right into the schedule.
Initially slated for a release on November 11, 2022, the game was postponed to sometime during the first half of 2023. Fortunately now though, it has been confirmed for September 6.
