Initially, Netflix mentioned this series on its site as a Japanese action series and a road trip adventure. However, Netflix has updated the summary on its website. It says, “Picking up after the events of the highly successful Tomb Raider videogame Survivor trilogy as told in 2013’s Tomb Raider, 2015’s Rise of the Tomb Raider, and 2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the animated series will chart the globetrotting heroine’s next chapter as she takes on the role of the iconic tomb raider that she is destined to become. Twenty-five years after her first game appeared, Lara Croft continues to explore new territory.”

What is the release date of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft?
Netflix has not disclosed its release date yet. A preview video revealed that the series will be out in 2024, though it did not mention a specific date. However, according to Hayley Atwell, the voice actor behind Lara Croft, it could be released in the summer of 2024.
