Golf is actually the country’s most popular sport in terms of participation, and New Zealand is home to the second most courses per capita, trailing only behind Scotland! With all of that in mind, it might not come as such a surprise that golf betting is also hugely popular. Why did OLBG.com drop half a star?
The most annoying thing about using OLBG.com was how difficult it was to find the golf options. I would have loved to have seen a separate section under the ‘Betting Sites’ options, but instead I had to search the site for the golf sites.

It was pretty easy to locate the golf betting sites at Sportsbook Review through their clear heading of ‘Sportsbooks’. Here, I was greeted with their best options and what is easily my top feature on the site – their top list. It was really helpful to see everything I needed to know, such as payment methods, top features, and any bonus codes, without having to scroll through lengthy reviews. Their top list is one of the most detailed of any I’ve seen, and I was also really impressed by how clear and easy to navigate it is.
The team behind Sportsbook Review also impressed me with experts who have worked at some of the top names in the industry. One of the sports betting standouts was James Bisson, who has been a sportswriter for over 20 years. His work has appeared in over 200 publications, including some of the top names in the industry. It was obvious, reading James’ profile, that I was in safe hands as he not only has this wealth of knowledge but is also a sports bettor himself.
Through the ‘Contact’ button on the Sportsbook Review site, I saw that they have a bettor forum where users can ask each other questions. Although they could still use some more contact methods, I haven’t seen a forum on many comparison sites, and it really makes sense! What could Sportsbook Review work on?
Sportsbook Review could do with adding a few additional golf betting options to its site, as there are currently only seven. In my opinion, another 10 or so would ensure that absolutely everyone can find the perfect option.
I’d also like to see a few additional ways to contact the Sportsbook Review team, as there’s only a question form on their site. I think options such as social media handles or email on their site would allow for much more direct and efficient customer support.
