Pittsburgh Panthers

Damar Hamlin’s Cardiac Arrest
On January 2, 2023, while playing in the 17 Monday Night Football game for his team Buffalo against the Cincinnati Bengals, Damar (safety) collapsed in the playground. Meanwhile, this happened after a tackle by Cincinnati’s Tee Huggins. Within minutes, the medical professionals rushed to perform CPR. However, since Hamlin showed no movements, he was immediately taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Centre. Following, he was taken to the medical facility, and it was revealed that he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Subsequently, on January 5, 2023, Buffalo cornerback Kair Elam released a press note about Hamlin’s improving health conditions. Damar has shown remarkable improvement over the past 24 hours, and “while still critically ill, he has demonstrated that he appears to be neurologically intact. His lungs continue to heal, and he is making steady progress”, claimed Elam.
