All the aspects of the XPS 15 seem to be perfect, from the smooth carbon fiber to the aluminum exterior. The XPS 15 is a joy with a proper room for typing, quad-audio with 3D around, and some thinnest bezels on any laptop. Over the past few years, XPS 13 was catching the eye of many for its design. It did compete with some rivals such as the HP Spectre x360 line and was a competitive alternative for Apple products.

Dell XPS 15 9500

The XPS 15 9500 looks a lot similar to the 13-inch version and it costs a lot of money. It is like a smaller sibling. With the omission of USB Type-A ports it looks much slimmer and the display now extends down which gives it a more immersive look. The display panel is suitable for creative professionals as it is pretty impressive to see how good the HDR content looked on the panel.

On either side of the keyboard, you can find stereo speakers which are worth listening to. The speakers have Waves Nx 3D and Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio. Dell has also loaded the New XPS with the latest 10th-gen Intel Corei7-10750H processor. It has a six-core 5GHz chip.

It is pretty impressive how the machine handles most of your daily workflow with so much ease including a bit of Photoshop, 10-15 chrome tabs, some YouTube videos, and playing music on Spotify. The graphics included are more than enough for casual gaming. XPS 15 could save hours when it comes to editing huge files and rendering 3D projects.

The XPS 15 has the most ports available to get some serious work done. It includes 3 USB-C ports, a headphone jack, and an SD card reader. There is a USB Type-A adapter and a USB-C to HDMI in the box but if you want multiple Type-A ports or Ethernet then you will need additional dongles

Dell also claims that the battery life of XPS 15 goes up to 8 hours and 27 minutes. If you pull down the resolution to 1200p or 1080p, then the battery life will increase a bit more. Also, there is this huge trackpad. Creative professionals and people with loving gestures will surely love this feature.

The 1535 Wireless-AC adapter gives a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection and is especially for your online videos. It automatically detects, classifies, and gives importance to network traffic making sure your important data gets priority over other applications.

Are you tired of typing the password every time you try to unlock your laptop? No need to worry! Dell got you covered by the XPS 15. You can enjoy a password-free sign-in with the optional fingerprint reader. It is the safest way to unlock your screen as it recognizes only you. This also works on different Microsoft Edge websites and apps.
