Gargoyles Remastered, developed by Empty Clip Studios is an attempt to reintroduce a classic into the gaming world. The original Gargoyles game was released in 1995 for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. Players had to step into the shoes of Goliath, the leader of the Gargoyles. The 2D platformer loosely followed the show’s plot.
Now, “Gargoyles Remastered” includes a hand-drawn art style reminiscent of the show, improved sound effects, and accessibility features like a rewind function. To the relief of fans who actually liked the classic animation better than what was shown in the trailer, there is an option to instantly switch graphics to the old version.
