Emily in Paris is an American rom-com drama created by Darren Star. The drama first premiered on October 2, 2020, and was renewed for a second season by Netflix on December 22, 2021. In January 2022, it was renewed for the third and fourth seasons. The third season premiered on December 21, 2022. Although both seasons were scheduled to be filmed back-to-back, unfortunately, the fourth season could not be filmed because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, and therefore, the production was put on hold.
Now that the strikes are officially over, the production process has started. The filming is expected to start on January 22, 2024. Hopefully, it will be completed by April 2024. According to some reports, the budget for every episode will be between $3 and $5 million.

The third season’s story revolved around Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount, breaking up with Emily after finding out about the Gabriel pact. The pact focused on Camille and Emily’s feelings for Gabriel and how neither of them would date him.
