While petitions and media requests started flooding the Internet following the musical drama cancellation, fans now believe the series will receive a renewal soon.

Terell, an avid Julie and The Phantoms fan, posted series theories on X, that hint at the possible renewal of Julie and The Phantoms Season 2. They are,

  • Kenny Ortega, the show’s executive producer, had recently shifted back to his previous talent agency. News from THR read,

In 2019, Netflix plucked Ortega away from the Disney Channel to sign a multiple-year overall deal with the streaming giant, and with Auntie Claus and the tween musical Julie and the Phantoms among his first projects. That overall deal with Netflix is no longer in place.

  • The second speculation mentioned Ortega’s Instagram handle wherein he re-added Julie and The Phantom’s tag. Additionally, his recent social media post featuring his pet dog incorporated a caption that read “I’ll Be Right Back Willie.
  • On the other hand, many cast members have posted about the much-anticipated series. Jadah Marie (Flynn Taylor) and Savannah Lee (Carrie Wilson) have shared a TikTok with the same caption

  • Owen Patricks Joyner, who played Alex Mercer in the show, posted an Instagram story videoing one of the film locations for Season 1 with the background song “The Band Is Back.”

Is There a Release date for Julie and The Phantoms Season 2?
