Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, formally known as Catherine, with the Prince, was spotted coming out of Windsor Castle on Monday. During a tense time for the royal family, Prince William and Kate were seen leaving the castle hours after she apologized for editing a viral family photo.
On Sunday, Kate Middleton posted a photo on her social media account in which she had edited a Mother’s Day photograph with her kids. Her three kids—George, Charlotte, and Louis—were smiling along with her. The post captioned,
She apologized a day later “for any confusion” and revealed that the photo was edited. The Princess of Wales said,
Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C

The couple was photographed while heading out of Windsor Castle in a car. She traveled to the Commonwealth Day service, which only Prince William attended. Reportedly, the Princess of Wales had a “personal appointment.”
She had not made a public appearance since Christmas last year. Kate Middleton went through abdominal surgery earlier this year, and people were speculating if she was missing.
Now that she has been spotted with Prince William, people are eager to know when she will return to royal duties. During the time of her surgery in January, it was said that she would not return to duties until at least “after Easter.”
Kensington Palace stated in January 2024,
The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.
