The dark and satirical American animated sitcom, South Park, recently took a brutal dig at rapper and singer Lizzo. In the latest episode, ‘The End of Obesity,’ the 36-year-old singer was name-called on an Ozempic joke. Humorously, her name was taken as an alternative to a world-famous weight-loss medicine. This is because she is very vocal about her stance on body positivity. She has spoken her mind on several occasions.

The episode featured Eric Cartman convincing his doctor to write a prescription for Ozempic. However, he cannot afford the drug; thus, his doctor makes him aware of Ozempic’s alternative, Lizzo.

In the episode, his doctor says,

I’m going to write you a prescription for Lizzo. She’s a really good singer who talks about body positivity, and just being happy with the way you look. I want you to listen to Lizzo five times a day, and watch her videos just before bedtime. I’m afraid you’ll have to be on Lizzo for the rest of your life.

Meanwhile, the FDA credentials on the medicine claimed,

Lizzo helps you eat everything you want, and keep physical activity to a minimum….stop listening to Lizzo if you experience suicidal thoughts. Serious side effects may include pancreatitis, hypothermia, and literally s****ing out of your ears.

The episode was highly focused on celebrities popularizing the use of this weight-loss drug. Occasionally, it also joked about the American healthcare system and how it is out of some people’s reach.

Moreover, Lizzo also responded to this comedic episode with a reaction video on TikTok. The Grammy-award-winning singer said,

That’s crazy. I just feel like, damn, I’m really that b**ch.

She added,

I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f**k to the point where these men in Colorado know who the f**k I am and put it on their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.
