‘A Time Called You’ is the Korean adaptation of the beloved Taiwanese drama ‘Someday or One Day.’ And it is going to be a much anticipated addition to Netflix’s K-drama roster. The series is scheduled for release on September 8th, 2023. Here’s all we know about it so far.
A Time Called You has been directed by Kim Jin Won, renowned for his work on shows like ‘My Country: The New Age’ and ‘Just Between Lovers.’
The storyline of ‘A Time Called You’ follows Han Jun Hee, a woman who mourns the loss of her boyfriend, Ko Yeon Jun, a year after his passing. One day, she finds herself inexplicably traveling back in time to the year 1998. She assumes the identity of a high school student, Kwon Min Joo. In that period, she encounters another student, Nam Si Heon who carries a stark resemblance to her late boyfriend.
The series features a talented and well-known list of cast members. Jeon Yeo Been, who has already made her mark in four Netflix Originals, takes on the challenging dual roles of Han Jun Hee and Kwon Min Joo.

Ahn Hyo Seop too will be taking on the two roles, Ko Yeun Jun and Nam Si Heon. Kaang Hoon will be playing a lead role on a Netflix production for the first time after having played supporting roles in ‘You Are My Spring,’ ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One,’ and ‘Little Women.’
As of June 16th, A Time Called You is in post production. Filming for the series commenced in April 2022 and was wrapped up on January 5th, 2023. The confirmation of ‘A Time Called You’ as part of Netflix’s 2023 roster of K-Dramas sent waves of excitement through fans.
