Netflix’s Korea’s first doctor series, The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call, was announced by the American streaming services recently and is set to release in the fourth quarter of 2024. An adaptation of the webtoon “Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour, The Trauma Codes: Heroes On Call” is directed by Lee Do Yoon. Besides, the screenwriters of the series are So Hyun Kyung and Choi Kae Tang.

Baek Kang Hyuk is a genius trauma surgeon who has performed surgeries in conflict zones worldwide. The severe trauma team is a double-edged sword for the university hospital. This is because as the severe trauma team saves more patients, the hospital goes further in the red financially.
