Unicorn Academy, the upcoming series based on the novel of the same name, is a kid-animated show and is all set to make its Netflix debut on November 2nd, 2023. Meanwhile, the series will premiere on Roblox, followed up by Netflix.
Discussing the schedule, Spin Master Entertainment has announced that the first batch of episodes will arrive on November 2nd and the debuting episode will come with an extended 72-minute episode. Meanwhile, Spin Master Entertainment has planned the series to continue till 2025
For the unversed, the animated series follows Sophia and the rest of the Freshman Class of the Unicorn Boarding Academy School. With the boarding school background, each student should share a bond with one of the unicorns to unlock magical powers which will come with assistance in helping their island home.

Moreover, the official synopsis of the forthcoming series read,
“When a dark force threatens to destroy Unicorn Island, a brave teen and her five schoolmates must rise to protect their beloved magical academy.”
Along with the synopsis, many media sources have unveiled who will be voicing the characters. They will be as follows
- Sara Garcia (My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale) as Sophia
- Sadie Laflamme-Snow (Slasher) as Ava
- Kamaia Fairburn (Endlings)
- Gabriella Kosmidis (Immortals Fenix Rising) as Isabel Armstrong
- Kolton Stewart (Some Assembly Required) as Rory
- Kari Wong (PJ Masks)

In the press release from GameFam, the company mentioned the initiative to release kid content on Netflix and Roblox,

Players will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the enchanting universe of Unicorn Academy as they follow Sophia™ on her journey from ordinary to extraordinary – as she discovers her destiny as a unicorn rider. Entering the metaverse for the first time, Unicorn Academy’s activation will be promoted throughout Gamefam’s portfolio of popular Roblox games including Build to Survive Simulator, Easy Obby, Gym Tycoon, Hospital Life, Little World, Starving Artists and Tower of Misery.
However, very few entertainment companies launch their kid’s content on Netflix. Moreover, the initiative of launching the series on Roblox, an online game platform is relatively new.
