The adaptation and expansion of Matthew Quirk’s novel, The Night Agent has created quite a few ripples with its performance on Netflix. People are genuinely interested in the show as confirmed by wikipedia searches, reviews, and reddit searches about the show. A source called The Night Agent the biggest show on the internet, beating South Park, Daisy Jones and the Six, and Love is Blind. Now the fans are waiting for The Night Agent Season 2.

The Night Agent debuted on Netflix on 19th March this year and it was renewed on 29th March after receiving overwhelming response from all regions. The show slipped into the top ten lists of 93 regions. It is sixth on the list of the most viewed shows based on 91 days viewing data.

Over the last 13 weeks, The Night Agent has been watched for 803.70 million hours. If you translate that into the number of views that Netflix is currently basing its rankings upon, you get 98.20 million views.

No wonder the show was renewed within 10 days of its debut. Season 2 of The Night Agent will be released in 2024 with Shawn Ryan as the show runner, the same person who was responsible for the stellar first season. Ryan has titles like The Shield and S.W.A.T. to his credit. While Netflix will publish the show, Sony Pictures is behind the making. There is a lot of excitement among the people behind this project. And the excitement is justified considering how well it has done so far.

The Night Agent Season 2 Update
