Top Eight Non-One or Potential Two Seeds To Win March Madness

Top Eight Non-One or Potential Two Seeds To Win March Madness

There will be a lot of seedings being tried to figure out for March Madness over the next several days, before selection Sunday. A lot of people predict either the number one seed or the number two seed to win it all and it has happened a lot as of late.

The last time a non-number one seed or a number two seed won March Madness was in 2014 when number seventh-seeded UCONN defeated number eighth-seeded Kentucky in the National Championship Game. There are going to be tons of March Madness Predictions being made over the next week or so. Who are some of the teams to bet on that won’t be either a one seed or a two seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament?

Villanova +2500

The Villanova Wildcats are going to be a number three seed most likely in the NCAA Tournament. They are going to be a threat to win it all because Jay Wright is one of the best coaches in the country and Collin Gillespie is one of those players that can take over a basketball game.

This basketball team had the pedigree and the reputation to make a deep run and potentially cut down the nets in New Orleans come April.

Texas Tech +2500

The Texas Tech Red Raiders are a very athletic basketball team. Outside of the Kansas Jayhawks and the Baylor Bears, they are one of the best teams in the BIG12 Conference. Texas Tech is projected to be a number three seed in the NCAA Tournament.

They were just in the National Championship Game three years ago against Virginia and lost in overtime. Texas Tech’s best player this year has been Bryson Williams. Their head coach is Mark Adams and he has done a great job since Chris Beard left for the Texas Longhorns last offseason.

UCLA +2800

The UCLA Bruins were just in the final four as an 11th seed a season ago and lost at the buzzer in heart-break fashion against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. UCLA is going to be in line for a fourth seed and they are going to be a very dangerous number four seed.

Mick Cronin is one of the most underrated coaches in all of college basketball. Johnny Juzang is one of those players that can carry a basketball team on his back.

Illinois +3000

The Illinois Fighting Illini were a number one seed last year in the NCAA Tournament last season and were bounced in the second round against Loyola Chicago. Illinois feels like the tide can be different this year. They could be a fourth seed or a third seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Kofi Cockburn is one of the best big men in the country. Brad Underwood is the head coach of this basketball team.

Houston +4000

The Houston Cougars were in the final four a season ago as the number two seed before losing to the defending National Champions the Baylor Bears. Houston has not played as well as of late and they are playing in the American Athletic Conference. Kelvin Sampson is the head coach. They are more in line for a fifth seed or a sixth seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Kyler Edwards is their best basketball player. They have a talented basketball team that is senior-oriented however.

Wisconsin +5000

The Wisconsin Badgers are one of the best teams in the BIG10 throughout the regular season. Wisconsin likes to play a grind-it-out basketball game and they like to make things ugly. They will most likely be a three-seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers have an outside shot at the number two seed, but that is probably not going to happen.

Greg Gard is the head coach of this basketball team. Johnny Davis is their best basketball player.

Other Odds: Tennessee Volunteers +5000 and Ohio State Buckeyes +6600.
