“The First Descendant” just got an exhilarating new trailer. It was unveiled at the Gamescom Opening Night Live. This action-packed glimpse into the world of epic battles and massive villains created the perfect hype before the cross-play open beta scheduled on September 19, 2023. Players will be able to participate on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The newly revealed trailer for “The First Descendant” offered a sneak peak into the game’s electrifying cinematic prowess. The Unreal Engine 5.2 gameplay is power packed to say the least. The trailer showed the Colossi, and the enigmatic Vulgus, along with a glimpse of the character abilities.

“The First Descendant” puts players into the shoes of a formidable Descendant. These armor-clad characters must rally against the relentless onslaught of The Vulgus. The player must act as humanity’s final line of defense on the continent of Ingris.

Previous beta phases have fed the anticipation for the release of the game but also fixed several issues. For instance, players can expect a seamless experience with enhanced frame rates, HDR support, and NVIDIA DLSS 3 integration.

The new cross-play beta will offer a “substantial prologue” that will delve into the intricate lore of “The First Descendant.” The release window for the show is Q4 2023, or at least that is the time the developers are targeting. The trailer and the beta will surely set the stage for a massive interest.
