Reports claim that Telegram is dealing with an influx of WhatsApp users just because of the changed privacy policy. All the users are very much upset with the new privacy policy of WhatsApp and due to all this Telegram comes out with an update. WABetaInfo noticed that the latest version of Telegram iOS is going to have an option for importing all the WhatsApp chat history from rival messaging applications, like Whatsapp, Line, KakoTalk, and many more. Therefore, the only thing that you need to do is to export conversation from Whatsapp, choose Telegram from the share sheet, and then the place where you want to import your messages.

The import is going to include media if you choose to save that content and all the converted messages are going to be labeled as imported. This is an additional update for Telegram that just came a couple of weeks ago when WhatsApp surprisingly revealed its privacy policy, that it is going to share the personal information with parent company Facebook. Whatsapp even rushed to inform the users that none of the parent company is going to have any personal information of yours, but by that point in time, the damage was already done. Millions of users have already left using Whatsapp services and millions are planning to do so.
This iOS update of Telegram is going to offer limited help only. Whatsapp is an application that is very much popular in the countries like Europe and India and doesn’t have traction in North America. Hence, it is very much clear that Telegram is eager to seize the moment and the hopes of many exiles will stay put.
