Kengan Ashura Part 3: Renewal and Release Date Confirmed

Kengan Ashura is a martial arts anime series available on Netflix. It is based on the manga series of the same name by Yubako Sandrovich. The show is animated by Larx Entertainment and distributed worldwide by Netflix.

Combatants have participated in gladiatorial combat in Japan since the Edo period. The arenas host powerful and wealthy businessmen who hire gladiators to fight on their behalf. The winner takes all in this fight for supremacy.

Tokita Ohma has burst onto the scene, joining the arenas and easily defeating his opponents. His skill and ability to destroy opponents have attracted the attention of many. Many fighters are now lining up to challenge Tokita Ohma. He represents the Yamashita Trading Co. and is competing in the Kengan Annihilation Tournament. With even more gladiators to fight, Tokita Ohma is eager to test his might.

Ohma won his fight against Raina in the second round and advanced to the quarter-finals. However, there are still two more rounds left, the semi-finals and the finals, which means there is more story to come.

Kengan Ashura Renewed for Part 3?

Official Status of Renewal: Renewed 

After two and a half years of waiting, Netflix Japan Anime Twitter account confirmed on March 23rd, 2022 that Kengan Ashura will be coming back. 

According to the editor of Kengan Omega manga, the new series will follow the original manga’s story “until the end of the original (the end of the tournament)!”

Kengan Ashura Part 3: Netflix Release Date 

Netflix’s anime content Twitter account has confirmed that Kengan Ashura will return for its third part in 2023. The announcement came with new key visual art, including a poster featuring Tokija Ouma.

Netflix Anime and Netflix France tweeted in March 2023 that the new season of Kengan Ashura would be released sometime in September 2023.
