On June 14th, Netflix revealed a positive update that they would be back in sunny Los Angeles. Through a tweet which is now removed, Netflix declared their renewal saying: “LA’s finest lawyer is back. The Lincoln Lawyer will return for Season 2 on Netflix.”
As season 2 was officially announced, it came to light that Dailyn Rodriguez would be working side-by-side with Ted Humphrey. Dailyn is popular for Queen of the South, and Ted Humphrey was the one and only showrunner in season 1. Ted returns as a co-showrunner for season 2.
Season 2 will bring 10 all-new episodes.
Manuel Garcia-Rolfo is set to recreate his role as Mickey Haller. He will be joined by Becki Newton (Lorna), Neve Campbell (Maggie McPherson), Angus Sampson (Cisco), and Jazz Raycole (Izzy). Although Campbell will return, her presence this time around will have a smaller scope.
