Remnant 2: Cathedral of Omens - How to Solve the Puzzles

This guide offers a detailed solution for players struggling to crack the puzzles of the Cathedral of Omens in Remnant 2.

The metal apparatus

Three levers encircle the metal apparatus, each holding the power to manipulate the device in a specific way.

1. Lever at the Entrance: Rotates the layer with the triangle and two circles.

2. Lever to the Left of Entrance: Rotates the layer with two circles.

3. Lever to the Right of Entrance: Rotates the layer with symbols.

Players must create specific patterns on the ground using the apparatus. The library connected to the puzzle room contains the key to these patterns.

Let’s explore the process using an example based on the “Calamity” page in the book.

The Calamity

The “Calamity” page features a triangle at the top. You’ll find the same triangle above the door across from the puzzle room’s entrance. You need to solve the calamity page correctly to open this door. You’ll see symbols corresponding to the “actors” – Ravager, Death, and Doe – on the left side of the page.

To solve the puzzle, players must fulfill the following requirements:

1. The triangle shadow aligns with the triangle above the door when viewed from across the room.

2. The shadows of Ravager, Death, and Doe have circle shadows around them.

3. Death is positioned above the triangle, as indicated by the book.

You have to start by using the lever at the entrance to rotate the triangle shadow until it matches the triangle above the door. Now, the triangle will point towards the left and the attached shadow circles will be across from each other.

Now, you must use the lever to the right of the entrance to move the Doe to the entrance of the puzzle room. Since Doe and Ravager are across from each other, the latter will be positioned in front of the Calamity door, positioning Death above the triangle.

Finally, use the lever to the left of the entrance to put a shadow circle on Death. Once you do that, another circle will be on Doe. Voila, you’ll be allowed to pass through the door and collect the coveted Faith Seed Crafting Material.

The Blood Moon door

You have to fulfill the following conditions to pass through the blood moon door and get your hands on the chest stored on the other side of the door.

1. The triangle shadow matches the triangle above the door when viewed from across the room.

2. The shadows of Moon, Ravager, and Sun have circle shadows around them.

3. The Ravager is positioned below the triangle.
