Will There Be a Kindred Season 2?
Kindred, managed by the network FX, has officially been cancelled by the network. Unfortunately, this news came after an announcement made by the production house that it “is known for carefully curating its slate and taking time to develop projects, sometimes redoing a pilot, and most of its shows stick around for a while.”
On the contrary, according to a media house, the showrunner, Brandon Jacobs, has initial plans for renewing Season 2 of Kindred. In an interview with The Hollywood Times in December, Jacobs revealed about the show plans and said, “The writers and I are working very hard on the plans for Season Two. We have a lot planned for Season Two, Season Three, and Season Four… I always encourage people to read the book, though if you don’t want to spoil it for yourself, definitely don’t keep reading. But yes, there are plans for season two. Big dreams.”
When is Kindred Season 2 Coming Out?
Since the much-anticipated series, Kindred has been cancelled by its initial network, FX Hulu, we don’t have any confirmed Kindred Season 2 release dates for the series. Talking about the chapter, in it, Dana is in modern-day Los Angeles, while her husband, Kevin, has time-travelled to 19th-century Maryland. Moreover, in Season 2, we will be watching Dana’s efforts to save her husband and also learn about her family’s complicated relationship with Rufus Weylin, the child she saved during her debut trip to the antebellum South.
