Pitbull Reacts To Netflix’s Bridgerton Using His Song For A Scene

American rapper and singer Pitbull has also joined the list of people praising the cleverness of the Netflix series Bridgerton. The first part of the third season of the series dropped on May 16. One of its scenes, where Penelope and Colin get steamy in the carriage, features Pitbull’s song ‘Give Me Everything’ playing in the background.

The show has continuously featured instrumental covers of many popular songs from artists such as BTS, Nick Jonas, Sia, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift.

The 41-year-old Latin artist took to Instagram and posted a clip of the scene. He added,

The track, which features Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer, became his first Billboard Hot 100-number-one single.

Even though the Regency drama mainly focuses on including playful songs from artists such as Taylor Swift and Sia, this song stood out.

In a recent interview with Business Insider, Bridgerton’s showrunner, Jess Brownell, said that she personally decided upon the song.

She had received a playlist from the show’s music supervisor, Justin Kamps. As soon as she heard the version, she felt something that was indescribable. she said,

I gotta tell you, I’m not a regular Pitbull listener, but I heard that song on the playlist without realizing what song it was at first and just thought, this song has such an incredible build.

If you think about that scene, it is years worth of their friendship and Penelope’s crush coming to this giant crescendo,

She felt it was perfect and much better than all other slower romantic songs. Brownell believed that ‘Give Me Everything’ resonated with the theme of the scene.
