Rayman makes his triumphant return in the latest DLC for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.
Ubisoft has announced that “Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Rayman in the Phantom Show” will be launched on August 30th.
Rayman took a back seat to the quirky Raving Rabbids for the past 15 years. But now he’s back to reclaim the spotlight in the third major DLC expansion for Sparks of Hope.
In the new DLC pack, titled “Rayman in the Phantom Show,” players will team up with Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach. They will take on an exciting adventure with the goal to meet the enigmatic Phantom.
Set in the Space Opera Network, the story follows the Phantom’s transformation from a villain in 2017’s “Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle” to a TV director seeking to boost the network’s ratings.

The Phantom enlists the help of old stars like Rayman to restore the network as its rating starts to plummet. Rayman’s character comes with a deep battle arsenal that includes abilities such as the haircopter, plunger blaster, and more. David Gasman is reprising his role as the iconic character, and Christophe Heral and Grant Kirkhope created the DLC’s soundtrack.
The “Rayman in the Phantom Show” DLC will be available for purchase separately at a price of $14.99. For players who already own the Sparks of Hope Season Pass or Gold Edition, the DLC will be included as part of the package.
Sparks of Hope was released before Nintendo’s next-gen console was launched. Ubisoft regrets that, but the game itself has won a lot of hearts. Sparks of Hope builds on the tactical combat ideas from “Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle,” and unleashes wild creativity. “Rayman in the Phantom Show” DLC addition will add a lot to the game’s excitement.
