Just days after the separation and impending divorce of Dalton Gomez and Ariana Grande was revealed, another celebrity couple has announced their separation in a surprising turn of events. Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello have decided to part ways.
Page Six released a statement from the couple that reads, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Vergara and Manganiello had been drifting apart from quite some time before deciding to distance themselves from each other to contemplate their futures said a source close to the couple.
Vergara recently celebrated her 51st birthday while on vacation and shared numerous pictures on social media which did not feature her wedding ring. Additionally, Vergara posted a contemplative message about life handing her lemons, leading many to speculate about the state of her relationship.

Joe was not present during her birthday celebrations. The ongoing writers and actors strike nullify the logic that he was busy shooting. He could have come and chose not to. A source said, “So now, no one around her is even attempting to pretend that it’s not over. It’s over. It’s done.”
Manganiello shared a wry post on Sophia’s birthday which read, “¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!” This minimalistic approach further fueled speculation about the state of their relationship.
